Natalie Edward

Writer and Songwriter

Natalie Edward is a writer and songwriter based on Manitoulin Island in Northern Ontario. Her work in poetry and music explores themes of identity, womanhood, and the tension between inner dialogue and external roles. She began her music career in Vancouver, performing regularly and releasing her debut EP, October (2007), followed by the single, Somewhere with You (2011). She is also the co-founder of Manitoulin Farmstead and has worked in wellness and as a birth doula, both experiences that inform her writing. Her current work is shaped by motherhood, the natural world, and the rhythms of rural, seasonal life.
